Pros

I’m excited to celebrate my first anniversary at BD. This past year has been full of learning opportunities, professional growth, collaboration, and support from colleagues across different teams. From day one, I’ve felt aligned with BD’s purpose-driven culture—where advancing the world of health isn’t just a slogan, but something that truly guides how we work and make decisions. One of the aspects I appreciate most is how BD empowers us to be “Creators of What’s Possible.” The environment encourages initiative, teamwork, and a mindset of continuous improvement. Over the past 12 months, I’ve been able to expand my skills, build meaningful relationships, and contribute to projects that have real impact in the healthcare space. BD’s purpose is truly at the center of the BD Way, and it creates a strong sense of direction and unity across the organization. It’s motivating to be part of a company that plays such an important role in supporting healthcare systems around the world. Overall, my first year has been extremely positive, and I’m looking forward to what’s ahead. BD is a great place for people who want to grow, contribute, and be part of a mission that matters.

Pros

There really aren't any. Incredibly toxic culture all the way down. BD used to be a great and supportive place to work but that is no more.

Cons

Very toxic culture. Management all the way down is either abusive or or flat out incompetent. We are told to essentially ignore our own code of conduct policies and ethics to the point where all qualified and competent performers have been run off by tyrant middle managers who can essentially do whatever they want or being saddled with the work of 3 people. You will not be valued here. The morale is at bottom and everyone is looking to leave the sinking ship.
