Pros

Supportive and Friendly Coworkers - Despite the challenges, colleagues were approachable, collaborative, and often helped each other navigate difficult situations.

Cons

-Toxic Work Environment - Team dynamics often felt undermining and unsupportive. Open communication was discouraged, and feedback was not well-received by leadership. -Excessive Pressure on Billable Hours - Constant pressure to meet billable hour targets created high stress, often without regard to workload feasibility or employee well-being. - Lack of Support from Management - Managers were frequently unavailable or unwilling to assist with workload or client issues. Escalations were often dismissed or ignored. -Unpaid Overtime - we are regularly expected to work beyond standard hours - Gaslighting Behavior - Concerns raised were often invalidated or reframed in ways that left employees feeling blamed or unsupported, contributing to a hostile work culture. -Minimal Raises and Bonuses - Compensation did not reflect workload, inflation, or performance. -Favoritism Among Management-Opportunities for advancement, recognition, and workload distribution were often influenced by personal relationships rather than performance, leading to inequity and resentment among team members. High Employee Turnover - frequent staff departures, often due to burnout, lack of support, or dissatisfaction with management and employees let go constantly

Pros

There actually are great people, but you play manager roulette.

Cons

BDO is notorious for promoting people who just never leave. The middle of the road, not great, not awful, people get promoted over and over again. There have been changes every 3 seconds since the ESOP. Terrible communication around change (non-existent). My manager's favorite term was "We are building the plane as we fly it". After 4 years, I was hoping to have more plane built. It was never built.
