Pros

Great culture, seasoned leadership, consistent growth...what's not to love!?! Bill.com is going places by leading the way in Fin-tech to create magically simple business payments. Simply...customs save time, control spending and collaborate better with their accounting team (internal or external). Management is very transparent and involves all employees in a monthly meeting where they share it all. Employee voices are heard and the leadership team responds. Rene Lacerte is a very smart, capable, determined and nice...he lives the company's values.

Cons

Getting to Palo Alto can be a bit of a commute for people who live a ways out...but it's worth the drive or flight.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. We are glad you appreciate and find the monthly company meetings worthwhile. We strive to be transparent by sharing financials, business updates, strategies, and goals with our employees monthly. We have recently started asking for feedback after the company meetings so we can include more of what employees want to hear about. We know traffic can be a challenge here (as in most places). We do have some public transportation options available including two free shuttles from Palo Alto CalTrain.

Pros

The compensation package is pretty great. The Supplier Growth team has a floor commission policy that guarantees commission payouts without having to close any deals.

Cons

- The "product" is terrible. They charge 6 figures to basically generate a daily excel spreadsheet that's not customizable and can pretty much only be delivered to the customer via email. It's the worst SaaS product I've ever seen - The GTM strategy is focused on how to cause more pain for the prospects to force them into a purchase rather than actually trying to offer a valuable solution that solves problems - The "solution" that is sold addresses a problem that BILL itself created - There is 0 training whatsoever, you're given a mentor and are supposed to just reach out to them every time you need help with something, which is extremely frequent because there are a million ad-hoc tasks thrown at you that don't help you progress deals in any way - There is never a Close Lost deal. If you get a no, the expectation is to "find a new path" and continuously reach out to other employees at the company
