      Pros

      As an employee, it is safe and secure enabling one to carve out a comfortable and moderately paced career. Its a fairly reliable and consistent employer. The staff, for the most part, are pleasant enough.

      Cripplingly risk-averse Low salary and bonus Immature IT strategy Like stopping and turning an oil tanker Confused finance division Inept HR division Multiple acquisitions and mergers over years were not ever finished properly

      Decent pay, Great people, laid back environment, and great managers.

      Pros

      After the latest re-structuring and going agile, I don't find any. But before, a stable bank with a good book of work. Positive environment with support from your colleagues. Industry standard medical plan and vacations.

      Cons

      Bonuses and salary raises are hugely dependent on who you know in the senior management and how they perceive you rather than what you actually delivered.
