fast promotions because turnover is high. nobody wants supervisor roles so easy to get after a few years of service.
Cons
many supervisors do not know what they are doing which cause staff under them to also not know what is going on. since very few specialists or analyst want the supervisor role, mediocre or incompetent people end up taking the role causing huge issues.
