The CEO has absolutely NO idea what she is doing. Constantly losing business due to unprofessionalism and disorganization.

Generally our HR Associate responds to reviews but I wanted to take an ample amount of time to not only reply but to take this one in. We have traditionally been an exceptionally small team and a very close one. As a CEO I try to handpick and delicately train my team to perfection so this review caused me to wrack my brain and made me a bit emotional-- particularly coming back from COVID during which we had to unexpectedly let go of many loved staff due to exceptional circumstances like many small businesses. The thing is if you were a past employee of ours it could not have possibly been in 2021 as all of our team still happily remains intact, and if you were in 2020 Im so sorry that we had to let you go. Covid was a horrific time for most small business owners and you will never understand the tossing, turning and tears that came with decisions that had to be made. Those decisions hurt and were not easy and I am truly sorry if it caused you any hurt from our end. It did not make a difference if someones work was wonderful---we were simply forced to let many marvelous team members go like millions of small businesses. Now, If you were an employee prior... maybe years prior, Im sincerely sorry that you felt this way. I wish that you had knocked on my door, sat down and had an honest conversation. Since you did not and if you were an actual past employee and chose this as your route of venting I would like to say that I hope no one ever has this experience as an employee of ours ever again. I would also like to stress that unfortunately not everyone will understand our business processes, however as I have given this review time to reply to....it has been quite enough time to certainly prove that this is not the case about my company, workplace, or our practices given our Forbes award and the various awards that we have won and been recognized for. Not only for ourselves but for our long standing & exceptional clientele. As you grow in business and your career I do hope that you understand how companies might ebb and flow in a crisis or pandemic and the high expectations that companies do have when they work at a high award winning level. Particularly those as credentialed as we are. I wish you the best of luck in your future PR career. ~M.T.

-you are constantly watched and you have to be on your computer screen from the start to the end of the day as there is no wiggle room for a break or work-life balance -the owner expects you to write as many pitches as possible in a short time frame. -I personally did not use AI, but she will frown anyone that does. But yet, all of her LI post are AI generated -Too much of a focus on quantity over quality -Let me go after a month regardless that i've been getting good quality coverage. The owner only wanted top tier coverage right out of the gate and that takes time to do rather than quickly.

Thank you for the feedback. A few points are worth clarifying for anyone reading. BPM-PR Firm has operated for 21 years with a reputation built on a clear standard: publicists who can write, who are present during business hours, and who deliver. Reviews from team members who meet that standard speak for themselves. As real effective PR should. A few realities of this industry that prospective publicists and clients should understand: Editorial outlets reject AI-generated copy and treat it as a plagiarism risk, because AI pulls from previously published work. That is an industry-wide rule, not a BPM-PR rule. Every publicist is trained on it. Submissions from a team member that flag repeatedly on AI detection are not a coaching issue, they are a termination issue. If every item written flagged as AI then they can not be submitted to editors and journalists and you were or would have been provided multiple opportunities to fix and correct prior to termination. Remote work at this firm means available, logged in, and responsive during the standard 9-to-5, present in scheduled meetings, and reachable by senior management on time-sensitive client work. Daily and persistent connectivity problems, extended absences of hours from the desk during the workday, and extreme delayed responses on client deliverables are not compatible with PR or any remote position for that matter. Our clients have deadlines. Editors have deadlines. The 120-day probationary period exists for a reason. It is the window in which a new hire cycles through the full client workload, learns each account, and demonstrates fit. Presence and writing capability are non-negotiable in that window. Either the standard is met. We do not micromanage publicists who deliver. We don't have time to, and the work life balance reflected across our reviews is the result. The probationary period is where fit is assessed, and when fit is not there, the firm acts. That is exactly how a well-run agency should operate. We wish you the best in your PR career.
