Pros
BUUK was able to offer me flexible/hybrid working to help me to be more present for my disabled child. Having come from teaching where I was overworked, micromanaged and had been off sick with work related stress - joining BUUK was like a breath of fresh air. I am able to log off on time every day, I am able to work from home to accommodate attending appointments that my daughter might need and I am able to honestly and openly communicate with management about my workload.
Management give me the autonomy to work in a way that suits me and I am able to grow and develop in my role. The company recognises that growth for everybody is not a management pathways and nurtures and develops people in a way that best suits them.
Cons
Being at multiple locations can leave some people in silos and unaware of what may be happening in other areas of the business.
