Pros
Unlimited potential - how far you go is totally up to you. Great benefits and the pay is top notch - the best in the industry. Great training program and good support from coworkers, inside sales, accounting, buyers etc... Overall good attitude from everyone. Forward looking management and a competitive environment. I can't think of a better place to start as an outside sales rep or to have a long successful career.
Cons
Can be very political. Management does not seem to trust outside sales reps. You have to constantly defend decisions you make in your territory ex: prices, margins, collections, returns.... I understand accountability and the company's need to make a profit, I just don't think that management should assume that the sales rep is doing something shady or wrong from the start.
