I am sorry your employment experience at BWX was not a good one. However I did want to point out that our employee turnover is actually very low (on a monthly basis it averages 2% to 3%). We also like our employees to "act like owners" so a leader who "runs the place like he owns it" is actually what we strive for. Yes, engagement survey outcomes are important to us but they are one of so many sources of information we use to better understand our company culture and how we can improve. We also spend a lot more time working on the lowest scoring areas of our annual engagement survey vs. the highest.
