Pros

Decent Salary that is paid on time for now. Centrally located near highways. Onsite cafeteria.

Cons

This company is stuck in the 1960’s in a dying industry no less. If you would like to work at a place that is a synonym for inflexibility this is the place for you. Working from home and closing the office on snow days is only a thing of the future at this place. Management continues to grasp at straws by trying to “grab a larger share of a shrinking market”. The atmosphere here is a mix of people waiting to see who is going to get laid off next and a certain element of fat that could be trimmed but seemingly never will be. Many talented people have been laid off in the last few months and we are left to wonder if there is any future for this company whatsoever. We have to feel like the people who were let go were more productive than people who simply walk around all day shooting the breeze or camping out in the cafeteria at all hours of the day. Even the assistance for the current employees is lacking. Our HR department is often unresponsive, unhelpful and lacks knowledge to help employees with the day to day questions and help we require. It feels like they are trying to hasten attrition so there will be less people to lay off in the next round.

Pros

Great company to work for. They provided autonomy as well as management support. There are always opportunities to move up within the company.

Cons

Growing rather fast, so the usually growing pains.

Pros

The work is interesting and I have a lot of control over the design and implementation strategy. The pay is decent. I generally love the employees that I work with on a day to day basis.

Cons

Under resourced. This company is a good ole' boy club. If you are a woman and you don't live in Louisville Kentucky you do not stand a chance in getting promoted no matter how hard you work. The management does NOT advocate for their employees. And they have a very old fashioned management culture.
