Pros

Working in a company like Babel Media is really God's Gift for anyone who is interested in Gaming. For anyone who wish to pursue their career in Software Testing, Automation etc. with big dreams, please stay away from this company. Because, all you will have here is fun, entertainment and excellent game time of your life. Free to and fro Cab + Meal is an added advantage. If you feel like you are earning less, add up these expenses to your salary. Work culture and environment is very good. You will can live the life of your choice and enjoy as much as you want if you are smart enough to take responsibility and complete the tasks assigned to you. Remember: Until unless you are kind of a person who values "SATISFACTION" more than "MONEY", this company is not for you.

Cons

First and foremost thing: Low Salary. By joining as a Fresher for Rs. 12000 take home, you will be competing with incapable and inefficient so called experienced Testers who will be earning twice as much you do by not even doing 50% of your work. And note, even if you give 200% of your time and energy, you will get 12-14% of hike at the end of financial year. Management will keep telling that they will implement stuffs like, Level-up Matrix, Bi-Annual Review etc etc. But nothings gonna change your way up. Second: Management knows that you had to work so freaking hard to reach where you are now. But still they won't give you any recognition, financially.

Pros

Some testing can be fun if you're lucky enough to land on a project in line with your tastes, but much of the work is monotonous and repetitive (just the nature of the job somewhat-not the employer). Free coffee on evening shifts and Fridays. Many good, driven, and talented people (though sadly often exploited and not used to their full potential. Still, lots of good folks, both in contract pool (at least 80% of employees, depending on season) and in senior testing/lead and management roles. Great IT department.

Cons

It's a digital assembly line. After some minimum requirements, not difficult work, which sadly leads to a lot of seat-filling, which is not only bad for the clients and their customers, but also can result in poor job satisfaction. Complaints about labour standards are often met with buck-passing, placating, and then indifference. Poor hygiene standards, only a few bathrooms for hundreds of employees a day, which are also open to other offices in building...often no soap in washrooms, close quarters working environment. Inadequate breaks. No benefits like health or dental of any kind for contract employees. Cutting of hours to avoid OT pay while simultaneously asking employees to work overtime shifts without notice. 40 hour per week Availability without any guaranteed hours.
