Pros

I really enjoyed interning here; I got to work on meaningful projects and my manager always made sure I was doing things that I was interested in. I also got lots of freedom to conduct experiments and work through problems on my own. They were also very flexible with my schedule, and everyone there was very pleasant to work with.

Cons

Compensation was somewhat low for an internship in the Bay Area.

Pros

For young professionals BTTR is a great place to get acquainted with the business world and gain valuable skills associated with the CPG, Food space. You will have the opportunity to network, travel and work directly with motivated and creative people.

Cons

Unfortunately BTTR suffers from the same cons as many millennial run companies in the Bay Area and turn over is high. The working environment is not designed to support long term career development - excessive hours, careless communication practices, lack of professionalism and impulsive decision making. Most importantly, the founders have done very little to support diversity and female empowerment in the work place and retention of these groups is extremely low.
