The work environment felt unhealthy and stressful. I was often walking on eggshells and concerned about job security. Although leadership stated that questions were encouraged, asking them was frequently met with subtle retaliation or being labeled as difficult. Training expectations were unrealistic, with employees expected to master a large amount of information in a very short time with minimal support.
There were clear cliques and favoritism, along with frequent turnover. People were regularly hired due to others leaving or being let go, which created a culture of fear and instability. The company publicly presents itself as faith-based and values-driven; however, those values were not consistently reflected in daily management practices. Messaging around faith sometimes felt performative rather than genuinely supportive.
