Dictatorship. Owned by capital venturist. Outdated, run down equipment in need of constant repair. Impossible goals. No standards in-place. Slow accrual of vacation (if allowed to take any). High turnover rate - knowledgeable employees don't last long. Profit is the only goal. No raises. Lousy benefits. Constant facility tours that disrupt production, as showcasing is more important. Misinterpretation of 5S and 6-sigma disciplines as housecleaning. Lost ISO 9000 qualification. CEO micromanages all company aspects but has no technical background: managers follow suit. New products are respins of older products - including flaws.
