Pros
Good pay and good benefits
Cons
-Zero branch autonomy. All hiring done by corporate. -Toxic culture. Everything is a write-up for your employees and branch managers don't get to make those calls. -Very sales-oriented. Was told that we would only be doing what was best for the customer. Upper management actually meant to push customers into products they did not need/want. -No community involvement. Was told this was a community bank, but was not allowed to contribute to local schools or organizations unless they held deposit accounts. How are you supposed to build trust in the community if you have no visibility? -Grew too fast. Customer issues could not be resolved in a timely manner and business/trust account openings could not take place same-day. This was due to back-office being short-staffed and overwhelmed. This led to exceptions not being resolved within timeframe which then fell solely on the branch.
