Pros
Starting pay is decent in the area I live compared to other places.
Cons
This company is a nightmare. They had a terrible archaic payroll system we had to use however when I joined they were in the developing stages of a more "with the times" system. I somehow manage to make it to the roll out of this new "state of the art" system and not even sure how this was possible but it was worse and created complete chaos with the clients. I went from wanting to pull all my hair out everyday to hoping I may get hit by a bus on my way in. This was one of the most hellish jobs I have ever had. It's super corporate where theres no way to really report a non existent manager or terrible co worker who acts like she is the manager. Beyond that you have to sit through torturous weekly meetings and other bs. Payroll specialists have one of the hardest jobs in this company and are paid the least, basically bottom of the barrel. I quickly learned that corporate was not for me and I am better off doing nothing at the top then everything at the bottom, do not walk run!
