Pros

The people working here are amazing, and make it the only really good reason to return every day. Unfortunately, the people all share the same hate for the work.

Cons

Oh boy, where to begin... The other negative reviews here are SPOT ON. you are hounded for numbers. It's High-pressure sales, not recruiting at all! You are forcing doctors (usually the deadbeat ones [no offense to the good ones out there] to do temporary work known as "locum tenens". What they DON'T tell you in the interview is that this is basically work for doctors that cannot get any other line of work. They have been fired, have malpractice issues, arrest records, and the list goes on and on. Because of this, there is a VERY strict submission process when interviewing a candidate - this can often take days/weeks if the provider isn't responsive. --OK fine, it's recruiting; you're going to have to dig through a ton of bad to find good and make a match....BUT THAT'S WHERE BARTON LIES TO YOU! They neglect to tell you in the interview or post-hire training that you will LITERALLY be harassing doctors. They don't want these bad, low-paying jobs in most cases and you are required to call them once, or more a day. They promise an enticing compensation structure, but in order to take advantage of it, you need to be employed for 2-3 years (They will tell you the opposite, but trust me.) The Medical market for jobs is very limited and vastly different than 2 years ago, and those people reviewing positively were around and have these people working for them, and they are making enough money to be happy. Until you reach this point, your are literally digging through a sales pool of providers looking for ANYTHING that can pretend to be production so you don't get fired. The hours are a dreadful 7AM-5PM, mandatory. They don't care if your car broke down or your alarm didn't go off. You'll get yelled at for being 3 minutes late. Anything you do wrong, they don't pull you aside and address it - they pull EVERYONE aside and give a "training" on the subject. This job is tedious, with long hours, over-pressuring management, with little to no reward for your hard work. There is an immense turnaround, everyone quits unless they are management favorites because they are getting hounded about their mistakes.

Pros

The bonds you make with your coworkers

Cons

Pretty much everything els. The bonds you make come from the office trauma you experience here. Upper management has no idea what they’re doing and constantly change focuses. They’re throwing spaghetti at a wall to see what sticks and it’s very poorly thought out so nothing does. The company has a very bad reputation and they’re not doing much to turn that around not the right way anyway. As soon as we replaced the ceo the company literally started to plummet. Top salesmen left. They fired half of the account managers which disrupted everything. People couldn’t handle the influx of clients and they went from 400 listings to 50. This is not a good place to start a career or grow. It used to be and they’re trying to re brand but they need someone to step in to get things going. It’s very sad. You will never be anything but a number here which ofcourse is part of a sales job but this is different. It’s a sad hollow black hole that will suck the motivation drive and happiness out of you. I did pretty good there myself but this is genuinely a bad place to work
