Pros

I've worked with Basetwo for over 3 years now. After moving away from Vancouver I took jobs with three other agencies, but never found a role or company that suited me as well as Basetwo does. So I came back! I have always felt like a valued employee here, my voice was heard, and there's no egos like you might find at other agencies. Trust - these guys trust their employees and don't try to micro-manage. Work life balance - we make sure clients get a great experience, but we don't kill ourselves in the process. Unlike other agency or industry roles, Basetwo provides a supportive work environment. Creative and interesting work - an ever changing array of projects keeps the work interesting. Client consistency is nice for creating long-term working relationships, but there's plenty of new businesses who choose to work with us means our work can evolve creatively. Business Evolution - as the world of video marketing has matured and evolved, so has Basetwo. They're always keeping up with trends and looking for ways to iterate the business to be better for both clients and employees. Ability to work remotely if you choose.

Cons

Not everyone loves remote work, so I'd consider whether that's a pro or con for you. Culture can be harder to build over Slack.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We've been working hard to build and maintain our company culture as we increasingly rely on remote workers, so I appreciate that our efforts have been noticed :)

Pros

- The team is very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and diverse. - Usually, we can work from home on Mondays and Fridays. - Everything is set up in a way that allows you to work remotely from anywhere (given you have a computer and an internet connection) if you need to. - The management is very flexible and results-oriented, so you can manage your own time as long as you keep up with your tasks and responsibilities. - The management provides great training and they are always open to discuss any matter. - They've been in business for a long time (since 2004), so they know what they're doing and have a clear vision of where they want to take the company in the coming years and how to do it. - At least in my case, I can say I get a fair retribution for my services. - The office space is very nice and well located in Downtown Vancouver, so it's fairly easy to get to using public transportation (just one block away from Burrard Train Station).

Cons

- Since they are a small company, they don't offer extended health benefits.
