Pros

-30% discount at Bath & Body works and any other Limited Brands Store (like Victoria's Secret!) -we get free stuff often, like at meetings -I generally love the store products and smelling great and having a great smelling home -MOS, you get to fill a large bag of products and only pay 5 bucks for it half full, 10 bucks for it full. you could get over 100 bucks of stuff for 10

Cons

-not enough hours. I understand that working here as a Sales Associate is a part time job, but often people only get two 3 1/2 hour shifts per week or less. Pay is a few cents above min. wage -"calls ins" - you are put on the schedule for a "call in" in which you call the store two hours ahead to see if they need you to come in, when often they don't. it's annoying. i've always been called in even when I wasn't scheduled for one, i dont mind though because I need the money. -employee gossip. -sales associates are pushed to have customers try products and buy more. most of the time customers just want to go in & shop, not have to be followed around by an associate. asking if the customer needs help is another story, but when you're pressuring them to buy stuff it's annoying, for us and them. I'm currently looking for a new job, I don't want to quit here because I really LOVE the store products, discounts, free items, etc, so I'll probably just keep it as a second job and work 1-2 shifts a week..which is what they give me...and a ton of bullsh*t call ins.

Pros

I previously worked in the field (for a different brand) and we were always so weary of corporate teams coming into the stores. However, the corporate team at Bath & Body Works is absolutely incredible, supportive, and does everything they can to advocate for the stores. The entire Store Ops team is full of people who care deeply about the brand, the store associates, and the customer.

Cons

A lot of meetings. But being remote, it was nice to see faces throughout the day!

Pros

We offer two fully remote weeks per year, in addition to three designated in‑person days.

Cons

The organization lacks a cohesive strategy and shows persistent resistance to change despite declining stock performance over the past several years. Our product and marketing efforts are no longer resonating with consumers, leadership effectiveness is inconsistent, and there are no defined career pathways for performers. Teams often work long hours due to constant rework and unclear direction. Firing the Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Merchandising Officer have been some of the few genuinely strong decisions. They were terrible, outdated, and caused swirl.
