Pros

Bath and Body works has a decent discount, great product and you will meet alot of different people. Good luck!

Cons

-Hardly any hours unless you are full-time management. You can request 10-15 hours a week but lucky if you get 3 hours which can be a 'call-in' shift. The 'call-in' shift or shifts don't really give an option for a life as you are supposed to call in an hour before your shift. This isn't too helpful if your shift isn't until 6pm. I will never understand the scheduling concept of this store. Why not hire 5 competent people rather than 15 to spread out over shifts? Makes no sense. -You are worked like a dog during your 3 hour shift and rarely praised. As explained above with the genius scheduling, you rarely have enough time to complete a task within the alotted timeframe because it's probably only you and a lead/manager working. Hopefully, you can mop a floor and clean a bathroom because that has to be done at least once a week. -Ever wonder how the store is set up? Guess what? That's you that gets to do that with very little time because it can't typically be done while customers are in the store. The floor sets can take you into the wee hours of the night, 1am or later. -If you enjoy mountain climbing this is the place for you to work. The stock room had tightly packed quarters which typically had you climbing up ladders, up a shelf and balancing between two moving shelves like an acrobat. -If you work the front of the store, be prepared to touch complete strangers with a hand messages so hopefully they will buy the lotion.

Pros

Good discounts on merchandise, easy work.

Cons

I would have loved to purchase some of their products conisdering the 40% off discount for employees, but they failed to pay me enough to sustain myself let alone buy from their store! I was getting paid about $150 every two weeks! They never notified me about how little I'd be working or about what my schedule would be like, my shifts were completely random. If you want a set schedule each week. this job isn't for you, you're lucky to get 1 shift a week that only lasts about 3-4 hours. Once again, my supervisors failed to mention this, thinking it was more important that I know how to sell products than whether or not I get paid enough to survive. I don't know why there was so much emphasis on selling merchandise to customers anyway, these products practically sell themselves. I had a lot of questions starting out since I was a NEW EMPLOYEE and all and had never worked a job like this in my life, but for some reason my supervisors failed to see this and instead made me feel ashamed and embarassed for asking the simplest of questions. They'd actually get mad and a little sassy at me for asking a question, like where a specific item was or how to do a return. I have to remind you, I had just started and my shifts were so sporadic it was difficult to retain all the info, so I HAD to ask questions.
