Pros

Forget skills and performance—just perfect the art of bootlicking. The longer your tongue, the brighter your career prospects.

Cons

I won't sugarcoat my experience at BayOne—it was one of the most disappointing phases of my professional career. What was once a company with potential has deteriorated significantly. A guy from Aditi Consulting, His decisions and self-serving management have damaged what used to be a well-functioning portfolio. Instead of supporting employees and driving growth, many decisions appear to be made solely to protect management interests, regardless of the impact on recruiters and delivery teams. The incentive policy is a perfect example. It was imposed on recruiters without meaningful discussion, consultation, or consideration of employee feedback. To make matters worse, my Full & Final settlement was withheld behind questionable policy interpretations, adding unnecessary frustration to an already unpleasant exit experience. The HR practices were equally baffling. Expecting a US IT Recruiter to continue knowledge transfer for 30 days while simultaneously creating obstacles during separation reflects a complete disconnect from industry standards. The organization operates with the mindset of a traditional "Lala Company" while attempting to project the image of a professional MNC. Unfortunately, the reality and the branding are worlds apart. The infrastructure is substandard, and even basic employee comfort and security seem to be an afterthought. Concerns around safety in the surrounding area only add to the negative experience. The work culture is perhaps the biggest disappointment. Favoritism appears to outweigh merit, and long-standing internal groups create an environment where professional contribution often matters less than personal relationships. If you're not willing to play politics or flatter the right people, you're likely to find yourself on the outside looking in. And honestly, this barely scratches the surface. There are numerous other concerns regarding management, employee treatment, transparency, and workplace culture that would take pages to fully describe. My advice to anyone considering joining: do your research carefully. Explore other opportunities, speak with current and former employees, and think twice before making a decision. A job offer may look attractive on paper, but the reality can be very different once you're inside.

Pros

Good networking opportunities and exposure to enterprise clients. Some talented individual contributors across teams who genuinely try to make things work despite organizational challenges.

Cons

Overall, the company feels extremely reactive rather than strategic. Leadership often lacks a clear long-term vision, and decisions appear heavily influenced by personal relationships rather than objective business structure or operational maturity. New senior hires are frequently treated as “the next big solution,” with their suggestions implemented unquestioningly until results fail to materialize, while long-time contributors and institutional knowledge are often undervalued or ignored entirely. Transparency is minimal. Important decisions are rarely communicated clearly, creating a culture where employees feel excluded from direction and uncertain about priorities. The environment can feel more political than performance-driven. The leadership structure appears highly relationship-based, with close personal ties across executive management influencing hiring and advancement decisions. HR, in particular, often felt emotionally driven rather than professionally structured, leading to inconsistency in employee handling and conflict resolution. The company strongly promotes a “family culture,” but in practice many employees experience a lack of genuine support, accountability, or psychological safety. Gossip, favoritism, and internal politics are common at both senior and mid-management levels. Despite heavy external messaging around diversity and inclusion, there were noticeable contradictions internally. Employees from different backgrounds often felt tokenized for optics rather than meaningfully included. Cultural stereotyping, inappropriate comments, and unprofessional discussions about appearance occasionally surfaced in ways that would not be acceptable in a truly inclusive workplace. Women joining leadership or management roles should be aware that the environment can at times feel highly competitive and politically charged rather than collaborative.

We're glad the networking opportunities and your talented colleagues were positive highlights along the way. The concerns you've raised — around transparency, inclusion, and workplace culture — are serious and not taken lightly. We recognize we have meaningful work to do in these areas, and this kind of feedback is important for driving real change. We wish you well ahead. Thank you,
