Pros
- Free health care benefits if you make it past probation
Cons
in the 4 months that I worked there, the Quality department went through 3 employees as they were coming up to being out of probation. This company seems to have a trend of firing people before their probation is up so they don't need to pay out those benefits.
The upper management wonders why they have a low retention and high turn over yet I don't think they are are fully aware of the practices that are going on in department with HR and the lower management.
They expect employees to be punched in at the machine 10-15 minutes early before their shift yet they don't start to pay you till the start of shift, and when pointing out that it is illegal to require their employees to do that it was shrugged off.
Lowest tier factory in Midland, Ontario to work for.
