Pros
The best thing about Beacon is that there is no shortage of opportunities to take on responsibility, demonstrate your capability and competencies and progress through the business. I started at Beacon as an administration assistant and quickly progressed to project manager and then quickly onto senior project manager responsible for E2E delivery of their biggest project. In my time working there I saw many engineers quickly progress from trainees to team leaders. It is a company where hard work is recognised and rewarded and no one is ever held back from achieving their goals. Telecoms is a male-dominated industry and something else that sets Beacon apart is that women are absolutely treated equally.
Cons
Not a good company if you just want to work your 9-5 and do the bare minimum to get your wages. If you want the best out of Beacon as an employer you'll only get it if you are prepared to graft.
