Cons
Heavily governed by DC Thompson on funding, HR and company culture. Completely stripped back in staff during COVID creating an overworked, low morale team among those left. Office in London is an absolute tip and looks like it was abandoned and not touched again since COVID. IT team are non-existent and equipment in office is sparse or broken. HR don't really care about diversity or training or development. The product and team refuse to get with the times and are still very much targeting the old white men who read the comics as children. There is hardly any awareness among young people and I honestly think the Beano will die out in our lifetime. The CEO and his inner circle are completely oblivious to the daily life of the young workforce and what children in the current day are going through.
