Pros
Discount… that is literally it
Cons
Uniform HORRIBLE and second hand, constantly have buttons falling off and have to pay yourself for new uniform Management are so cliquey and have double standards, we can’t talk to each other but they can all gather together and talk Long shifts (9 hours and more) with only 30 mins break, I usually worked at least 3 9.5 hour shifts a week Expected to drop everything to work as and when they change the rota, without ever asking/consulting staff Half the products are actually sh*t old stock, like really really old, dried up, non pigmented, etc We opened an hour before any other surrounding shops (money hungry owner) HR team is shocking (if there even is one) Forced to push products that are terrible and then managers speak to you rudely if you don’t sell them (Even though people wouldn’t take it even if it was free) Staff room area was tiny, and so uncomfortable so you can barely even enjoy the small break you do get and if someone else is waiting to start shift while you’re on lunch, you may as well sit on top of each other Boss watches the staff in the cameras Pay is bad It was literally the most miserable I’ve ever been in my life, and as soon as I found a new job that changed. I’m now happier than ever.
