Pros
Behavior Frontiers prides itself on the quality of treatment for every one of their clients. From ensuring that front line staff is extensively trained on ABA strategies and techniques, to on-going trainings for Case Managers and Supervisors, the organization strives for the delivery of top-notch, effective ABA treatment. At Behavior Frontiers, employees' voices really matter. The organization is constantly seeking feedback from its staff about what they like, ways to improve things, and what staff would like to see more or less. Within months of receiving this feedback, the organization makes changes in line with what staff are requesting. It's great to feel that we matter and that our opinions actually count. At the management level, Behavior Frontiers really allows its staff to pursue passions and areas of interest. The Executive Director is always open to considering novel additions to services provided, encouraging managers and directors to pursue their passions within the organization, to further advance the opportunities for the clients we serve. At the front line staff level, Behavior Frontiers fosters the clinical growth of BIs, providing additional, supplemental trainings. Behavior Frontiers strives to grow the organization from within by promoting prepared individuals from instructor to Senior Instructor, and when ready, to Case Manager / Supervisor and even into upper management levels. The organization has "regionalized" over the last year, meaning that work areas are smaller, allowing clinicians at all levels to concentrate more of their day on clinical matters, while minimizing driving all over town.
Cons
The organization is policy-heavy, for individuals coming from less structured agencies, it may take some getting used to (it did for me); however, I've found - time and again - that the very policies that I once struggled with have been created for my protection, and I now embrace them wholeheartedly.
