Good Culture, Tech and Compensation lag behind - Trader Belvedere Trading Employee Review

Pros

The culture is one of the strongest aspects. People are generally kind, approachable, and collaborative, which makes the day-to-day environment enjoyable. There’s meaningful opportunity to make an impact if you show initiative and a willingness to work hard. Your contributions can be noticed relatively quickly (though you do need to advocate for yourself). A solid place to learn about trading and develop a strong foundation in the industry.

Cons

Technology investment is lacking compared to industry peers, limiting efficiency and competitiveness. Compensation is significantly below competitors, and the structure often misaligns with performance: top performers feel underpaid, while lower performers are sometimes overpaid relative to output. Retention of strong talent is a challenge. Many high performers leave for competitors that offer better pay and career growth, while weaker performers tend to stay. Significant resources have gone into large-scale projects that have yet to produce meaningful results. Those funds might have been more effective if allocated toward improving core technology and retaining key talent.
