Pros
During Hurricane Michael of 2018 and the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020, Berg was still able to keep everyone employed and has been the biggest supporter to all their employees. That says a lot about a company that fights for you to stay. When Hurricane Michael hit, Berg was there. They gave supplies, cash advances to everyone so they could financially take care of the things that the hurricane damaged, and even had a gas truck so employees could fuel their cars and generators. They also allow us to help our fellow employees that were impacted by the hurricane to donate and Berg made sure it went to the employees and family that were in need. Now with the pandemic, they took our health and safety very seriously. Remote work was put into place so our essential workers/our amazing operations staff, could continue to work with less risk of getting sick. Berg also kept everyone employed. We were recognized as an essential workplace and that was a blessing to continue working instead of losing employment, which unfortunately is the sad reality people were losing their jobs in Panama City because of the pandemic. Berg have been transparent in all their communications and provided many resources to us.
Cons
I think like all other companies nationwide, Berg is still trying to grasp all these changes going on in the world. Berg heavily depends on the oil/gas industries.
