Pros
Do not necessarily need to have a teaching background. Teaching materials provided. Very flexible work hours. Some students are quite interesting. Perhaps a good way to build initial experience for a career as an English teacher for adults.
Cons
The Berlitz method is great in theory but can be quite difficult to apply, especially at the higher levels - many instructors end up using their own approach. Scheduled work hours can be very disjointed and involve a lot of unpaid travel time. Pay is relatively low. Career advancement within the company appear extremely limited.
