Pros
Great co-workers, fun and interesting clients with good projects. Mix of compliance and specialized consulting. Management is trying to improve processes (more in cons on this). Good career opportunities depending on which department you work in. Some are better than others depending on management. This is normal at every organization. Overall great employer for early and mid career. A little rough and quite political beyond manager title.
Cons
Low pay compared to similar employers. Also pay is inconsistent within roles and not dependent on skills. Many high performers are underpaid compared to others. Disconnected and disjointed management. They are trying to improve but there are a lot of mixed messages. Management does not seem to be in agreement. They speak of flexibility, but if you want something there is a great deal of pushback. They usually give it to you but make the process adversarial and destroy trust in the process. Most employees realize you can only trust something if it is explicit and in writing. If not the story will change and the promise will go up in smoke. This is based on discussions with coworkers. Strong persistent personalities do well as they demand attention.
