What can I say about my time at BWT? I absolutely loved working with my coworkers, but the company president, is difficult. He constantly interjects himself into every single department and micromanages everything you do. He has his favorite employees that can do no wrong in his eyes, they can even go so far as physically assaulting another employee and he won't do anything about it. He especially loves targeting female employees and trying to exert control over what they are doing, as if they are not capable of doing the job they were hired for. I was there for nearly 7 years, and at the end I was so poorly treated and accused of things that were categorically false and was told that I needed to take training classes in emotional intelligence and anger management. Did it ever occur to him that he had pushed me to a breaking point? I had spent nearly 2 years working 80 hours a week because of the software transition from Sage to Netsuite. What a fool I was to think that my hard work would be appreciated and I would be rewarded with a nice bonus at the end of the year, nope that didn't happen. I was stressed and over worked. I was promised a promotion if I took accounting classes, I took the classes, and finished my courses with a 4.0. He decided to hire someone in the position that I had been promised, and had been essentially doing for years. Joke was on him, because the person he hired ended up being a huge mistake because she ended up causing more work for my manager every month. I was a great employee and I was great at doing my job, and to be told that I wasn't good enough for the role I was promised, and that I needed to take training literally broke me. I left in June 2024, and the scars are still fresh. I still keep in touch with several people, and from what I have been told it's just getting worse. He is spiraling, and it is going to cause other great employees to leave.
