Pros
Meeting Seniors in the community, Office and Regional managers are very supportive
Cons
I worked at Better Health Group/VIPcare for four months, and I can honestly say it was one of the most toxic and unprofessional work environments I've ever encountered in my years in the Medicare industry. The atmosphere was rife with negativity, and I often felt talked down to and ignored by colleagues and management alike. The company's expectations seem heavily skewed toward their Florida market, disregarding the unique challenges faced in other regions, particularly Georgia. This lack of understanding and support was incredibly frustrating and made it difficult to perform my job effectively. My mental health declined significantly during my time there, primarily due to the overwhelming stress and lack of support. It was clear that the company prioritized financial gains over actual value-based care, focusing more on patients' money than on their well-being. Additionally, I noticed that many doctors were seldom present, which raises serious concerns about the quality of care provided. If I were looking for a healthcare provider for any elderly family member, this would be the absolute last place I would consider. Based on my experience, I seriously doubt that this company will thrive in Georgia given their current practices and culture. I hope this review serves as a warning to potential employees and patients alike.
