-You know this place is bad when there was a lawsuit against this company for emotional abuse while working there- true story they want to keep under wraps -Michelle the CEO is not a good leader, she is ‘nice’ when you meet her but make one small mistake(which may not be your fault) or say something she doesn’t like and she will belittle you and threaten you with a write up, so unprofessional. She is a mean girl underneath and will talk to you like a child. She does not have any leadership experience and was basically gifted this job from Jodi, even though their are much better qualified real fashion industry ceos who could do a better job -Jesse, Michelle’s husband(conflict of interest? Yes!), he is the CFO and is the worst, comes from a banking finance background so he thinks he knows everything but really does not understand this industry at all and will not take advice from any seasoned veterans who know more than him. Huge mansplainer and has been known to have anger problems and yell at people. -Revolving door on the Production team side, they’ve have FOUR heads of production in 3 years, because no one can stand the abuse from Michelle and Jesse and they are reluctant to change their ways -They hire people above you all the time, especially to those to have been there awhile, it’s their way to push you out which people either leave because of the disrespect or are fired -They promote the brand as inclusive which is done great on a marketing level, but very little of the product is size inclusive, it’s not where the money is so they don’t care that much -Dont respect other people’s time, everything is according to Michelle’s schedule, it is common for your meeting to be rescheduled 4 times to adjust for what she cares about that day. -There is no HR, which is terrible with the verbal abuse that comes with working here
