The biggest downside is the constant upheaval of company direction based on poor earnings year after year. I was laid off during my third year of working for them, and every year they did a round of layoffs, getting rid of 8-10% of employees. After layoffs, there'd be lots of process change, focus change, and it was hard to know which points-of-contact had stayed with the company. Don't commit to this company and expect any sort of stability. While you'll be supported during your time there, I expect future yearly layoffs along with all of the rapid changes that happen after.
