Pros

Product and innovation The company works on genuinely useful enterprise software that helps sales teams be more effective. If you enjoy building tools that have real business impact, that's satisfying. The tech stack is reasonably modern, and there's scope to work on interesting problems around content management and enablement. Work culture The distributed nature of the company means flexible working is baked in. Teams tend to be collaborative, and there's generally decent autonomy in how you approach your work. The engineering culture respects technical expertise, and you're not constantly fighting bureaucracy to get things done. Learning opportunities You'll get exposure to enterprise-level systems and the complexities that come with serving large clients. There's room to work across different parts of the stack if you're keen to broaden your skills.

Cons

Company stability This is the big one. Like many mid-sized SaaS companies, Bigtincan has faced challenges with market conditions and growth targets. Redundancies have happened, which creates uncertainty. If job security is a priority, that's worth weighing carefully.

Pros

Coming from an acquisition I was a bit nervous but the Bigtincan team was very welcoming and quickly found a place for me on a stellar sales team. 1. My manager always makes time for me as I work through my deals. 2. My team is collaborative and helped accelerate my onboarding by letting me ride shotgun on some of their deals. 3. A dedicated sales enablement team upskills me on product knowledge, messaging, roadmap and strategy. 4. Access to all levels of leadership.

Cons

Slightly different deal cycle and renewal process than the company I came from which took some getting used to but was a non-issue.

Pros

Great colleagues. Vector started off positively fixing things that needed to be fixed.

Cons

Lots of managers flitting about having lots of meetings without progress or any discernible plan. We are desperate for someone to lead from the front. No clear direction or path to success - just fear of Vector making more cuts. Tough to do your best work in that environment when nobody feels wanted.
