Pros

A truly well-rounded, ambitious, kind, and supportive leadership team. There’s a strong balance of vision, intellectual curiosity, calmness, ethics, and thoughtful decision-making — all grounded in a genuine commitment to culture and values. The technology is incredible, but what really stands out are the people behind it — talented, driven, and hardworking individuals who care deeply about innovating with purpose and always keeping the patient at the center of everything. The culture is transparent, collaborative, and performance-driven, with strong communication and accountability from leadership. It genuinely feels like one cohesive team, 20-mile-marching forward together towards ambitious, shared goals. Expectations are clear, support is always available, and there’s a real sense that everyone wants each other to succeed.

Cons

BillionToOne offers so much — meaningful work, incredible teammates, strong support, great compensation, and endless opportunities to grow. But it’s also a place where you need to be all in. Success here takes focus, commitment, and genuine passion for what you do. I don’t see that as a negative at all — it’s part of what makes BTO such a special place. The bar is incredibly high for everything we do, and there’s an unwavering commitment to doing things not just the right way, but in ways that were once thought impossible. You’re constantly encouraged to challenge your own limits, think creatively, and find innovative ways to solve complex problems. It’s demanding — but it’s also deeply rewarding.
