Most employees are kind, conscientious and supportive of one another. The owners always give some kind of Christmas bonus and throw a generous holiday party. The company's stated values are very positive.
Cons
The pay is very low for the level of education they desire in their employees. There is very little room for advancement. The training program for technicians is haphazard and poorly monitored, so it is easy to make mistakes without even realizing you are making them. The company is very dependent on one type of contract research, which makes it vulnerable to fluctuations in the market and the regulatory climate. There are a large number of upper-level managers and administrators relative to the size of the company, which leads to a high level of fixed overhead.
