Pros
Great mission to save lives and good benefits.
Cons
Biofire has been the true definition of an early tech startup with a management team who is too smart for their own good. None of the leaders have ever built anything or brought a product to market and it shows. While the mission is great, hours are crazy, systems are created and then never enforced and there is an astounding lack of agility for a single sku e-commerce company. There is zero worklife balance, no hierarchy structure, wildly slow moving for a startup and little to no actual leadership. Executive team doesn’t listen to their employees and sets unrealistic goals to the point that they provide zero direction or incentive. I would highly recommend staying far away from Biofire unless you are willing to work 60 hours a week, constantly spin your wheels and report to a young ceo that thinks he has all the answers when he clearly is out of his league. They are also not transparent at all about their funding which is very demoralizing for the employees.
