      Pros

      I have made some wonderful friends I love working with and helping clients Job flexibility I don't have to stand all day

      Cons

      Low pay Understaffed and sometimes unqualified staff because of such low pay In some situations, not enough training when dealing with particularly challenging individuals Rehire of employees despite bad work history, etc PLPMs make a couple dollars more than DSPs! They do a lot and are underpaid!

      Pros

      Assisting People supported and being able to assist some to have a perfect life with any disability. This job can be very rewarding as long as your vision for employment is not focused solely on money. The management is focused on making sure BIOS is person centered and that includes being person centered with staff. The CEO is focused and a part of the company, The COO is beyond supportive and interactive with making sure staff feel welcome and appreciated.

      no cons, as long as you present yourself well and actually care about taking care of people.
