Pros
As I am still furious, I cannot remember any good things here. Hybrid working mode is here if that’s what you are looking for (some compulsory days at office, others from home).
Cons
Let me help you understand my situation in this company. I was hired to cover content in a specific language and my probationary period was supposedly 6 months. Here’s what happened to me: - my probationary period was extended again and again, with no apparent reasons or explanation, but they also didn’t choose to terminate my contract because of poor performance or any form or disciplinary actions. After months of feeling anxious about this (this is after my 6 months of probation, during all the unexplained extensions), the HR finally contacted me just to tell me that the company doesn’t want to continue my contract (???) and I was advised to take their notice and leave. - I was often given tasks that falls outside of my work responsibilities, needing to cover work for other language even though I have voiced my discomfort in working with other languages. - The KPI standard in this company is inconsistent, at its worst the standard changes EVERY TWO WEEKS. - In relation to the KPI, the instruction from the management (mostly the highest ranked person, not gonna name him here) set expectations that were unrealistic, wanting us to compete net traffic with major e-commerce sites although we are not competitors in the first place. Worse is, the managements can’t seem to consistently stick to 1 decision, and the decisions are also mostly vetoed by the highest rank person so our opinions doesn’t matter. - Lastly, this company has a very different style of salary release system, in which the salary are very frequently released a lot later than other companies because they don’t seemed to have a very fixed date on when the salary will be released for the next month (don’t worry you will still get your pay, just late)
