Blacktrace products are genuinely cool and innovative; the company puts a lot of effort into R&D and making "boring" scientific instruments look impressive. The company culture is pretty decent, most people want to do good work and collaborate and be supportive of each other, but....
Cons
Complete lack of progression other than for employees who throw their toys out of the pram or buddy up with senior management, and a pathetic pay rise finally after 3 years of working there. A handful of people were pretty toxic when I worked there, making it a pretty uncomfortable place to work at times (which is why I left).
