Pros

In March 2025, seven of us joined the company as Product Support Specialists, each bringing 5–10 years of prior experience. The organization provided on‑the‑job training for their products and later conducted an internal exam. Surprisingly, only one person was selected to continue, while the rest were asked either to resign or be placed on a one‑month Performance Improvement Plan (PIP). This requirement was never mentioned during interviews or at the time of joining. It raises the question: which company conducts such exams for experienced professionals after hiring them?

Cons

Please be cautious — this is based on our own experience. When we joined, we checked Glassdoor reviews but didn’t come across anything like this, so I’m sharing here for awareness to help others avoid similar situations. The role was a work‑from‑home model, and we were hired from India. It's WFH model and we are hired from India.

Pros

Remote work is really the only pro that this company has left.

Cons

I have had the pleasure of working for Blend for multiple years and have witnessed a shift in their priorities from employee-wellbeing to profit. Upper management will take your resources to do your job, replace them with cheaper products, and then complain about your performance. You’d be lucky to be one of the ones who makes it past one of their many layoffs as well. You will put your blood, sweat, and tears into this job and will not be rewarded. Measly raises and unfair pay is a huge issue as well, putting employer morale so low. People are paid below half of their market value and expected to keep their heads above water.
