Pros
1) Family oriented - If you have a family issue, they bend over backwards to help 2) Flexible schedule - As long as you don't abuse it, you can go to Dr appt without issue. 3) Generally friendly people.
Cons
The Company is family owned. While this isn't a bad thing, it does allow them to play favorites. And play favorites they do. Some of the things I witnessed before I left were staggering. 1) The company is 100% sales oriented. If you are not in Sales and aren't selling the shirt off your back for the Company's profit, then you are viewed as a -DRAIN- on the Company, and any requests you make for equipment or resources are examined microscopically. 2) If you ARE in Sales, then even the most asinine requests are generally rubber-stamped for approval without much examination and without -any- consideration to how it would affect the other departments. 3) I have seen people run afoul of a Manager and then get rail-roaded right out the door. They'll get written up for something they didn't do and all proof from any source that goes against their chosen narrative will be ignored. They'll receive several poor performance reviews, and the point will be made: Leave on your own, or we'll make that decision for you.
