Pros
Nothing I can think of. I guess you might not get fired if you stroke the right ego
Cons
Honestly this place is awful. - Incompetent, inexperienced leadership changing direction every 5 minutes. - riddled with nepotism. Lots of people in crucial roles they aren’t qualified for which means marketing, product, finance, IT and operations departments never deliver anything of any value - massive lack of gender diversity means not a single woman in senior leadership. - no surprise then that case after case of sexual harassment goes unpunished. The same culprits continue to harass. Everyone at the company knows who they are but they keep their jobs while the women they harass are forced out. - old-fashioned corporate culture and immature insecure leadership means no flexibility to work from home. They hate it and want everyone in the office where they can be watched - any good leader they do hire is eventually forced out when they try to effect change - salaries and commissions are below average and they find any excuse they can to avoid paying commissions - company directors turn up from the US once every 6 months and throw their weight around. They have no idea what goes on in the company day-to-day, they’re rude and borderline aggressive. - favouritism and nepotism are rife at Blink, so the same directors will be friendly with the right people, even meeting them for dinner, whilst other employees don’t even get eye contact. I could go on forever - there is a shocking lack of competence everywhere you look at Blink. Please if you are reading this, avoid Blink/Fidelity Payment like the plague. The 5 star reviews are faked (you only need to read them to see that) and there are many more one star reviews waiting to be written.
