Pros

Working with great people. Working with non-profits. Decent benefits with decent PTO

Cons

Unless you are a selective few, the pay is dismissal. You're fighting at review time for increases of pennies. The gaslighting on this subject is strong. In a company slack channel, a healthy discussion around 4 day work weeks and sharing recent data was shut down by guilt and gaslighting and being told to stop looking inward and focus on our customers, by someone who has a salary of 400-500k. Any feedback about anything negative happening here is quickly shut down. High turnover in leadership makes it hard to feel stable. Feature farming and not fixing existing issues. it's starting to not stand out and you can have all these problems somewhere else but get paid more.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We always use market data to inform our decisions regarding pay. We'd love to talk about this more in-depth if you're interested. Additionally, we take employee feedback very seriously-- the entire ELT reviews and discusses each piece they receive. We hope you know that your feedback is valuable to us and is always taken into account.

Pros

The product is good and work makes a meaningful impact. Great collaboration with peers and team mates. Work life balance can be good- depending on your team and manager.

Cons

Pay is below market and annual "merit increases" do not at all keep up with cost of living increases. If you aspire for a larger increase you can try to generate enough value for the company by creating far more work for yourself but still unlikely. Promotions are rare outside of yearly reviews. I only know 1 person that has had a direct conversation with a member of the ELT. The CEO is deeply condescending and patronizing with a thin attempt at jocularity. The company works with many environmental non-profits but has no stance on protecting resources while pushing more and more AI usage.
