Pros

Personally rewarding to see growth with the clients you work with. Amazing coworkers. Honestly you have to be a good person to last long in this job, so bad coworkers generally weed themselves out. Benefits for full-time employees. Accrued PTO.

Cons

RBT pay is contingent on direct 1:1 therapy with a client. This means no client = no pay (can be offered cancellation pay at a lower hourly rate as compensation if admin work is available). If hired as a full-time employee, it doesn't necessarily mean you will be a full-time employee. Must average over 30 hours a week for 4 weeks before benefits are offered. Reduction in benefits can occur if the employee has not retained this average for a long enough period.

Pros

The RBTs and BCBAs are great and truly care for the children. You are able to work with a multitude of children and staff instead of a small team. They provide decent insurance.

Cons

This company does not put money into the clinics or stimuli for the clients. If you need something for a child, expect to have to purchase it with your own money. Bluesprig also does not provide any RBTs for administrative tasks so if you need materials made, you have to do it on your personal time at home. Additionally, with no admin time the clinics become dirty. If I toured one of the nearby clinics, I would not send my child there due to the filth on the walls and toys. When you are provided with an evaluation, it is 6 months after the review period. It is obvious that the CEO has no behavioral background because there are no incentives to motivate RBTs (or the children for that matter). This is the consensus of multiple BCBAs and RBTs from different clinics, not just my opinion.
