If you believe that becoming a professional in a highly specialized, globally booming field of technology — and being hired by the undisputed market leader — should come with strong compensation or professional respect, Bluefors may not be the place for you. Unfortunately, the company can feel like a trap. You may spend years developing highly specific skills that are difficult to apply elsewhere. No matter how hard you work, your salary may remain largely unchanged. Your compensation and benefits may not scale with the company’s growth, even as its profits rise dramatically. If you are planning to become a professional in this niche field, make sure in advance that your expertise will be properly valued and compensated. If you are already experienced in the field, consider other options carefully before applying. However, if respect and money are not important to you, and you do not mind watching questionable decisions being made around you, Bluefors may still offer an opportunity to develop your own skills and feed your passion towards the field.
