Pros

Top clientele base. Market is still untapped in Malaysia. So much potential in terms of growing the Malaysian customer base. Getting to meet top management in numerous organisations such as public listed, GLCs, governmental bodies and organisations.

Cons

Mismanagement of cashflows. For a 10-year old company, salaries for employees are still late by 10-15 days, maybe more. Funding from investors were promised but after 12 months still nothing has came in. Still have a startup mentality. All the revenues earned in Malaysia are being repatriated back to Sri Lanka, hence no room for growth and expansion for the local Malaysian team. People come and go.

Pros

Innovative Product: BoardPAC is a strong and competitive board automation platform with a good client base, particularly in Asia. Talented Colleagues: Worked with smart, capable, and collaborative teams. Opportunities for Ownership: Roles often come with a high level of responsibility, which helps build hands-on experience quickly. Exposure to Regional Markets: Good opportunity to gain cross-border experience, especially in enterprise-level sales and tech engagement. Flexible Work Arrangements: (If applicable) Some flexibility was offered in managing work, especially during travel-heavy periods.

Cons

Lack of Transparency in Compensation:Salaries and payments were consistently delayed without clear communication or timelines, which led to frustration and distrust. Poor Communication from Management. Limited HR Accountability: Escalations regarding pending payments were not handled with the urgency or clarity expected, impacting morale and professional motivation. Unstructured Processes. Retention Challenges: Delays in fulfilling agreed-upon commitments contributed to talent dissatisfaction and attrition.
