Pros

pay was on time, could work independently without too much micromanagment

Cons

no stipend for computer, phone or internet. had to use my own equipment after being made to work from home during COVID. dumped more work in my lap after a round of layoffs with no additional compensation then was laid laid off after the CEO told us not to worry about anything. no raises no chance for advancement. I'm riding public transportation but the CEO is riding around in an Alfa Romeo

Pros

Work from home supporting individuals in need

Cons

Overall, the company is a great organization to work for, with a meaningful mission, vision, and values. However, be cautious when working in the Family Support Services Division or Workforce Development Division. These divisions lack knowledgeable leadership, are not purpose-driven, and show a lack of empathy towards the individuals they support. Additionally, they often fail to provide adequate guidance, proper training, or coaching to support the team, leading to extreme burnout. Furthermore, there have been concerns regarding the Vice President's leadership style/ experience, resulting in extremely high staff turnover.
