Pros
SO many pros. It's actually unreal! Costco snacks for days, employees are able to request almost anything they want as far as snacks and office things go. Work from home every Wednesday and leniency on those days to take appointments. Freedom February once a year traveling away from grey Seattle and working remotely from the tropics for a month. Generous PTO, great medical/dental and 401k. Hours are 9am-5pm M-F so there are never any late nights or early mornings, and weekends off. Management actually listens to you and encourages you to leave feedback and is interested in your career. Really collaborative and productive relationship with colleagues, everyone gets happy hour after work on Fridays. You can listen to music on your headphones while you work. Every Friday around 3pm we stop working and grab a beer from the fridge, everyone shows what they've accomplished for the week and we discuss site updates. Hard work is recognized and praised, if someone is struggling many chances and opportunities are given to help. There is also lots of opportunity to move to different departments/tasks.
Cons
Office location/commute time/parking. If you don't live in the city or one bus away, the commute is difficult and you're always arriving/leaving during peak times. Also, we communicate during the day exclusively online, so the office gets eerily quiet at times and it can feel weird chatting someone who is sitting right next to you.
